Have you ever wished you had someone reliable and fairly priced to call for
those more difficult home projects? I moved into a big house in Issaquah 5
years ago and for the first year I thought this quite a few times. Looking
in the Issaquah newspaper I saw an ad for Evans Carpentry and cut it out...a
couple months went by and a project came up...I needed benches and planters
built on our back deck. I phoned Evans Carpentry and Ian picked up. Within
the week he was at work and did a great job, with a smile, and at a fair
price... A few months later he did some dry wall repair for me, replaced a
door and did some painting. Again - great work and a smile... A year later I
asked Ian to quote building a split level home office in a massive crawl
space area under our home (we had room for a whole level under our lower
level)...He made several great suggestions based on his construction
experience and soon I had a fair quote. A month later he got to work
including recessed lighting, built in home theater speakers, stairs,
windows, separate entry door, and even a chair rail...looks great. Of late
he built me a large skateboard ramp in the 3 car garage and a storage area
in our lower level crawl space...Overall Ian works hard with a good attitude
and charges a fair price. Ian is a genuinely nice guy and tries hard to make
you happy. I really appreciate him and all his work.

I contacted Evans Carpentry for a small refinish project for a rental home
involving repair to a stair banister (hand rail) and some paint work.  Mr.
Evans was extremely responsive to my inquiries, and prompt with his
communications and service.
 
He was quick, professional and the project exceeded my expectations. The
entire transaction was conducted via mobile phone and e-mail. I did not
meet Mr. Evans in person until AFTER the project was completed.
 
After my experience with Mr. Evans, I feel I offer an honest testimonial
